Arsenal could be in line to receive £15m transfer windfall after Mikel Arteta's admission

By Mikel Arteta's own admission, more transfer activity at Arsenal is imminent.

So far this summer the Gunners have only signed Nuno Tavares in a £6.8million deal from Benfica and the left-back - who is expected to provide cover for Kieran Tierney - marked his first appearance for the club with a goal in the 2-2 draw with Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

Although, Arsenal are poised to complete two more moves in the coming days.

As reported by football.london on Friday night, the north London outfit have finally reached an agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion for the signing of Ben White.

After having an initial £40m offer rejected by the Seagulls, Arsenal have met the £50m demand to bring the England international to the Emirates Stadium.

However, a deal isn't expected to be finalised until after White returns from his holiday.

As a result, Albert Sambi Lokonga's move from Anderlecht could be the next transfer announced by the Gunners and Arteta has confirmed that more signings are imminent.

"We trained really hard, played two games, and now we're going to be travelling to America in the next week," said Arteta after the 2-2 draw with Rangers at Ibrox.

"We didn't have any injuries which is really positive in the first week. We're going to have some new faces arriving probably, so very positive.

"A great debut with his right foot as well! He's only been with us a few days but you can already see his qualities, his physicality and then the quality on the ball that he has. He's integrating with the lads really well, so it's a good start."

With that said, could there be some movement regarding some outgoings at Arsenal?

Well, Hector Bellerin is one of several players tipped to leave the club this summer and amid talk of a move to Inter Milan, the Serie A champions' CEO Giuseppe Marotta has delivered an update.

"Hector Bellerin is a player we’re following... but I can’t say more," he told Sky Sport, as per Fabrizio Romano. "Alex Telles? I can’t exclude this possibility but we're making our plans and we’ll see.

"We’re now planning to keep our best players after selling Hakimi."

Having seen Inter receive £51m by selling Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the summer, it would appear that Arsenal are keen on receiving a nice transfer windfall themselves.

As per our colleagues at the Mirror, the Gunners are asking for a fee of around £15m for Bellerin, who still has two years to run on his current deal, worth £100,000-a-week.

Alternatively, they would be willing to accept a loan offer, but only on the condition that Inter give their word to sign Bellerin permanently when their finances improve.
