Arsenal confirmed XI vs Olympiacos: Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil start

Alexandre Lacazette and Bukayo Saka have come into the Arsenal side as Mikel Arteta bids to secure passage to the Europa League round of 16.

The France striker and Saka are the only changes from the team that beat Everton 3-2 on Saturday, the latter taking the place of Sead Kolasinac, who suffered a shoulder injury at the Emirates Stadium.

Eddie Nketiah drops out of the squad whilst Gabriel Martinelli and Joe Willock are added. Reiss Nelson has also missed out on Arteta's 18 man squad.

Dani Ceballos remains the man to partner Granit Xhaka in midfield with Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi on the bench.

Arteta confident ahead of Olympiacos second leg

Arsenal lead 1-0 from the first leg after Alexandre Lacazette converted Bukayo Saka's second half cross. The Gunners have never lost a European tie in which they initially won the away leg and Arteta pronounced himself very impressed with how his side performed in the tie so far.

"I was very pleased with the performance in general, apart from the first 10 minutes when we had some issues to control - defensively, in the final third - some situations and as well, when we gave the ball away in difficult areas when we could've progressed our play and become dangerous," Arteta said.

"But apart from that, the team played with a lot of personality in a very difficult stadium, against a good opponent with a great record in their own stadium.

"And we managed to score and win the game, which is a positive too."

Arsenal XI: Leno; Bellerin, Mustafi, Luiz, Saka; Xhaka, Ceballos; Pepe, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette
