Mikel Arteta has named an attack-minded Arsenal side to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League with Eddie Nketiah making his first Premier League start ahead of Alexandre Lacazette.
Dani Ceballos is also in the starting XI, his first start under Arteta, whilst Nicolas Pepe returns to the team after being dropped for the 0-0 draw at Burnley.
Significantly Mesut Ozil remains in the side with Ceballos potentially playing a deep role alongside Granit Xhaka.
Meanwhile Nketiah is a notable addition with Lacazette paying the price for a run of nine games without a goal.
Newcastle, meanwhile, are without Andy Carroll after a further injury setback that came when he volleyed a ball in training.
Arteta was under consideration for the Newcastle job this summer before it went to Steve Bruce, who has thoroughly impressed him with his progress at St James' Park.
"What Steve has brought to the club has been really, really good," he said. "The performances and results, compared to where they were last year, they are above any expectation.
"He has put together a team with great spirit and is a manager with massive, massive experience."
