Arsenal confirmed team vs Valencia: Aubameyang, Ozil and Lacazette all start for the Gunners

Arsenal take on Valencia at the Mestalla on Thursday evening with a place in the Europa League final at stake.

The Gunners take a two goal cushion to Spain after a 3-1 victory in the first leg at the Emirates last week.

Una Emery has picked a strong side in a bid to win through to the showpiece final in Baku on Wednesday, May 29.

With the Gunners taking a measly point from the last 12 in the Premier League hopes of a top finish are all bar the shouting.

However Arsenal have been strong in Europa, easing past Borisov, Rennes and Napoli to reach the last four.

Here is Emery's line-up is as follows:

Cech; Monreal, Sokratis, Koscielny. Maitland-Niles, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Torreira, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

The formation looks to be three central defenders with two auxiliary wing-backs that will mean a trio at the back when Arsenal attack that reverts to a five when defending.

Two defensive shields with two attacking players in Ozil and Aubameyang with Lacazette up top, ostensibly in a  5-2-2-1 formation which could also be interpreted as 3-4-2-1.
