Arsenal confirmed team news vs Leeds as Gunners unchanged again with Smith Rowe on the bench

Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged side for the fourth match in a row for Arsenal's Premier League clash with Leeds at Elland Road.

This means that the Gunners once again have Alexandre Lacazette as captain as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang misses out for the third game in a row following reports that he is currently training alone at London Colney.

Behind the Frenchman Bukayo Saka starts on the right, with Martin Odegaard in the number 10 role, while the in form Gabriel Martinelli continues on the left.

All this means that Emile Smith Rowe is once again on the bench despite his goalscoring cameo as a substitute in Wednesday night's win over West Ham.

There is no space in the squad for either Ainsley Maitland-Niles, while Albert Sambi Lokonga is also absent after testing positive for COVID-19. Mohamed Elneny the only senior midfielder among the substitutes.

He is joined by Nicolas Pepe who once again is not in the starting XI amid Arteta's comments earlier in the week about the Ivorian's struggle for game time.

Eddie Nketiah is also among the subs and will be looking to produce against the club where he spent half a season on loan if he is able to get on the pitch.

Arsenal starting XI: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
