Arthur Okonkwo makes his senior debut for Arsenal as they take on Hibernian in the first of their pre-season games against Hibernian at Easter Road.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper committed his future to the club by signing a long-term contract last week and has been called up in absence of Bernd Leno who is still away after spending time at the Euros.
He is joined in the starting line up by fellow Hale Ender Harry Clarke who also makes his senior debut at centre back alongside Pablo Mari.
Clarke spent last season on loan at Oldham and fills the right central defensive role with William Saliba in France to secure his loan move to Marseille.
Fellow loaness from last season Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac also return to the starting XI after spending the second half of last campaign away at West Brom and Schalke respectively.
That means new signing Nuno Tavares isn't in starting line up, with the Portuguese left back not even on the bench for this game.
Instead on the bench are youngsters Karl Hein, Omari Hutchinson, Folarin Balogun and Jack Henry Francis.
They are joined among the substitutes by Emile Smith Rowe who could well sport a new shirt number for today's game ahead of potential squad announcement, although football.london understands that that is still a way off being finalised.
