Arsenal have confirmed Pierre Emerick Aubemeyang will miss tonight's Premier League clash with Southampton.
It is the second successive game the Gabon international has missed for the Gunners as he sat out Saturday's FA Cup defeat - also at Southampton.
The Gunners say the 31-year-old 'will be unavailable for Tuesday’s match due to personal family reasons.'
Aubemeyang's absence is a blow for Arsenal with the former Borussia Dortmund forward contributing eight goals this season., including three in his past three matches.
Three other players will also be absent from the matchday squad for Mikel Arteta on the south coast.
Defender Kieran Tierney has a calf injury and is being assessed for discomfort in his lower right leg.
Pablo Mari is also out with a similar injury although it is hoped he will be back in training with the first-team squad next week.
Meanwhile, Dani Ceballos has resumed training after a calf injury but he won't be fit enough for the squad on Tuesday night.
The club says he will continue to be assessed in the coming days ahead of a return.
Arteta's side are aiming to get back on track following the 1-0 loss at St Mary's on Saturday.
A win against the Saints would see them move up three places to eighth in the standings and overtake Ralph Hassenhuttl's side.
