Time is running out for Premier League clubs to try and conclude their January transfer business, with the window closing for business at 11pm on Friday night.
Though this transfer window has not been the busiest in living memory, there has been plenty of talking points, with Manchester United’s pursuit of Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen finally leaving Tottenham Hotspur to join Inter Milan.
So, with just a matter of days remaining in the transfer window, we take a close look at the latest rumours and gossip from around the Premier League.
Arsenal confirm Mari deal
Arsenal have completed signing Flamengo defender Pablo Mari on loan.
Mikel Arteta was desperate to add a left-footed centre-back to his squad before the 11pm deadline on Friday and he's got his wish.
The deal was in doubt over the weekend, but Mari has joined on loan ahead of a permanent deal in the summer.
Rojo to leave on loan
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United centre-back Marcos Rojo will be allowed to join Argentinian club Estudiantes on loan ahead of the deadline.
The centre-back has been limited to opportunities at Old Trafford this season and will be desperate to get more first-team football under his belt somewhere.
And it seems that he will join Estudiantes, who are managed by former Man Utd player Juan Sebastian Veron, with the deal claimed to be agreed.
Mourinho faces striker puzzle
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been handed a transfer budget of just £10m to try and land a striker before Friday night’s deadline.
The Sun claim that Spurs owner Daniel Levy has given Mourinho just £10m to find someone who can fill the shoes of Harry Kane, who remains out injured.
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is understood to be a target of Tottenham’s.
