Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham fans react to their Carabao Cup semi-final draw

Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs fans have reacted to their Carabao Cup semi-final draw with the latter two of the trio facing off against each other, whilst the Gunners play Liverpool.

The three London clubs had to get through three tough assignments in the form of League One Sunderland and Premier League duo Brentford and West Ham.

For Mikel Arteta and co., they will be seeking revenge for the early season demolition that they suffered at Anfield and they will be playing the first leg at home to Jurgen Klopp's men.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's game against Chelsea will be the first Antonio Conte reunion with his former club, with the Lilywhites boss set to receive a mixed reaction when he takes his seat in the opposition dugout at Stamford Bridge.

Later in the same month, the two London rivals will face off each other in the Premier League, also coincidentally taking place in west London, meaning fans have two fierce derbies to look forward to in the new year.

The first chapter between the two ended in a comfortable 3-0 win for the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium- a result that went a long way to ending Nuno Espirito Santo's short-lived reign in north London.

Therefore there is no doubt that both the players and Conte himself will want revenge on a club who fell out with the Italian serial winner at the latter stages of his Chelsea tenure.

With all these factors taken into account, here were some of the best reactions on social media from supporters of all three of the aforementioned London giants.

Arsenal fans

@MOFtbl noted: 'they won’t have Salah and Mane.'

@Benjy1992 is not too optimistic: 'Well we had a good run.'

@JamieH8sSpurs delivered his one word verdict to the draw: 'easy.'

@Skinz_14 tweeted: 'Winnable games as Liverpool will play weaker side.'

@RossBhela16 was on the same page as Benjy in his assessment of the draw: 'Well it was nice while it lasted.'

Chelsea fans

@surennnn11 is confident: 'TUCHEL WILL SCHOOL CONTE.'

@ftblShush mocked: 'Tottenham Get Battered Everywhere They Go.'

@Blkmamba11 is looking forward to seeing the managerial battle: 'TT vs Conte ohhhhh.... this will be good...'

@Kachenje2 was a little more cautious: 'Very tough one.'

Whilst, @ballretentionst was the complete opposite: 'Final it is.'

Spurs fans

@AATHFC is not confident at all: 'Fa Cup it is then.'

@danpom wasn't intimidated one bit: 'Bring it on.'

@thfcjxmie wanted to remain somewhat optimistic: 'Only positive is kepa will be in goal but won’t be too bad.'

@Gcam92 pointed out a worrying trend: 'It’s always them in a cup tie. We win one of every ten important games against them.'
