Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United told how much Kalidou Koulibaly will cost this summer

Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis has told clubs looking to sign Kalidou Koulibaly this summer that the defender will not leave the Italian side for less than £90million.

The defender is set to leave Napoli in the next transfer window with the Serie A club struggling for form on the pitch as well as from a financial viewpoint.

Napoli’s highly-rated defender has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, however no formal negotiations are believed to have taken place.

But that is not to say that a transfer could happen in the upcoming window with a number of clubs reportedly interested in the 28-year-old.

Deloitte predicts Premier League clubs will lose £1bn revenue this season

Three of those clubs are believed to be Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, while Arsenal were also linked with the centre-back at the turn of the year.

However De Laurentiis has no plans to accept a cut-price offer for his prize asset, and took aim at clubs who could be looking to sign the Senegalese international on the cheap this summer.

"If City or United or PSG with €100m (£90m) showed up, I would think about it [selling Koulibaly] and it is probable that they [the player] would leave, always if their will was to leave," he told Corriere dello Sport

"I don’t even consider an offer of €60m (£55m). I am solid, if I wanted to win the Scudetto at any cost today I would find myself with three, four hundred million debts.

I look around and see companies at 500, 600 million, less a billion. I don’t owe anyone a s***."

While Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli recently told Sky Sport 24: "Kalidou is a great player, who still has a long contract with us.

"If we were to sell, the club could ask for a large sum. A player like this cannot change his value even in a crisis, so we are not moving our valuation."
