Film producer Ben Winston says it is a “dream come true” to have joined Arsenal’s board.
Winston, whose production company Fulwell 73 has won 23 Emmy awards and three Baftas, was added to Arsenal’s board last week.
The 43-year-old was one of four new faces announced by Arsenal last Friday, with executive vice-chair Tim Lewis stepping down.
Winston is a lifelong Arsenal fan and has been a season-ticket holder for over 30 years, dating back to the club’s time at their old ground, Highbury.
He has continued to follow the Gunners, despite working on programmes such as The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Kardashians in the United States, and was at Arsenal’s win over Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season.
Winston was also present at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday for Arsenal’s draw with Manchester City, attending for the first time in his new role of non-executive director.
“It was announced on Friday, that I am joining the board of directors of our great football club,” Winston wrote on Instagram. “It’s truly nothing short of a dream come true.

“I’ve spent the majority of my life talking and daydreaming about The Arsenal. Now, I’m actually allowed and required to.
“33 years as a season ticket holder. In my years sat in the West Lower Highbury, then standing in the Clock End - to being back row of block 12 by the corner flag at the Emirates, I didn’t ever imagine ending up in the directors box.
“My language may now have to clean up a little during matches, but my passion never will.
“I am beyond grateful to Stan and Josh Kroenke for the opportunity. I’m also so thankful to have had Alan Sefton lead by example all those years ago, and show me The Arsenal way. I love this club, so much - and it’s the honour of a lifetime to serve it.”
