Arsenal beat Al-Nasr in Dubai: Alexandre Lacazette, Carl Jenkinson and Tyreece John-Jules score in 3-2 win

Arsenal ended their mid-season training camp in Dubai with a 3-2 friendly win over local side Al-Nasr.

Unai Emery named a mixture of youth and experience in his line-up, with Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette, who both played for more than an hour, among the regular first-teamers involved.

However, it was the hosts, currently 11th in their domestic league, that took the lead early on when Ronnie Fernandez curled a brilliant effort in off the far post, having been a nuisance alongside former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo from the first minute.

Eventually, Arsenal wrestled back control, with Barcelona loanee Denis Suarez, hardly seen since his January arrival but given the full 90 minutes here, impressive.

It was his laser guided pass that teed up Carl Jenkinson to level the scores just before half-time, as the right-back rattled the woodwork with a first time strike before converting the rebound.

Arsenal made five changes at the break, but kept their star attacking names on the field, and two of them combined to take the lead shortly after the break, Ozil laying off for Lacazette to stroke home at the end of a nice move.

And the result was sealed when substitute Tyreece John-Jules rounded the ‘keeper to find the bottom corner, with Khaled Jasal's late penalty too little, too late for the hosts.
