Arsenal and Unai Emery suffer double injury blow ahead of Wolves trip

Aaron Ramsey and Denis Suarez will miss Arsenal's Premier League clash against Wolves tomorrow night.

The Welshman picked up a hamstring problem during the 1-0 win over Napoli in the Europa League quarter-final second leg last week, while the latter missed the game altogether with a groin issue.

As expected neither will be available for the crucial game at Molineux Stadium and via the club's official website this morning an injury update on both players reads:

The Alexandre Lacazette and Wilfried Zaha exchange that has excited Arsenal supporters

Aaron Ramsey - 'Left hamstring. Continues to receive treatment and further assessment. Will miss Wednesday’s match at Wolves.'

Denis Suarez - 'Groin. Continues to receive treatment and further assessment. Will miss Wednesday’s match at Wolves.'

There is some positive news regarding Granit Xhaka as the hip injury which kept him out of the defeat against Crystal Palace will continue to be assessed, but football.london understands he is expected to be available to make the trip.

There was also injury updates on Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding, all of whom are expected to miss the remainder of the season.

The Gunners head to the Midlands for the first of two games that could determine whether or not they are playing Champions League football next season.

Wolves - which has long stood out on their run-in as arguably the most challenging of games - is followed by a trip to Leicester City four days later.
