Arsenal and Tottenham sent Bruno Fernandes warning after what happened in Man Utd's win vs Leeds

Manchester United sealed an important three points on Sunday as they responded to Arsenal and Tottenham victories.

The Gunners and Spurs both picked up wins on Saturday against Brentford and Manchester City, respectively, to put the pressure on Man United in the top four race.

However, United dealt with the pressure in a chaotic game against Leeds United at Elland Road. The visitors took a 2-0 lead into the half-time break, with goals from Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.

Leeds, though, replied with two quick-fire goals at the start of the second-half, with Rodrigo and Raphinha levelling the match for the hosts.

United did find a way to the three points, though, with Fred and Anthony Elanga sealing the victory in Yorkshire and their side remain four points ahead of Arsenal and seven above Tottenham.

One thing coming out of the match that could spell bad news for the Gunners and Spurs is the return to form of Fernandes.

The 27-year-old has not been at his brilliant best this season, but he has still managed to find the back of the net nine times in the Premier League. The match at Leeds, though, was the first time the Portugal international has scored in successive games in 364 days - something that could be bad news for Arsenal and Tottenham.

If Fernandes can return to the form we saw from him on a regular basis when he moved to Old Trafford in January 2020, then that will undoubtedly give United a huge boost in their race for a top four spot this season.

Despite this, Arsenal will remain confident of pipping United to a spot in the Champions League.

As it stands, the Gunners are down in sixth, four points below fourth-place United, but Mikel Arteta's team have three games in-hand on their rivals.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are seven below United, but have also played three less games as Antonio Conte looks to salvage the season with a top four finish.
