Arsenal and Tottenham are both reportedly considering a transfer swoop for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren, according to Sky Sports.
The Croatian has had limited playing time at Anfield after slipping to fourth-choice in the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp.
Lovren's current deal with Liverpool runs out at the end of next season, but he is likely to be moved on this summer rather than the Reds lose him for nothing in 2021.
Both Arsenal and Spurs are in the market for defensive reinforcements, and Lovren would provide a decent option with plenty of experience.
It was only two seasons ago that he appeared in both the Champions League and World Cup finals.
This season his chances in the Liverpool first team have been few and far between though, making 14 appearances in all competitions.
Lovren enjoyed an extended run in the team following injuries to Joel Matip and Joe Gomez, but has since been benched again after both players returned to action.
His most recent performance in a Red shirt came in the 3-0 loss to Watford - Liverpool's only defeat in the Premier League this season.
The 30-year-old was criticised for his display, and has since been blasted by former Liverpool defender Jamie Caragher.
"I've watched Lovren in a Liverpool shirt for so long making the same mistake," Carragher told Maych X Pajak Podcast. "He wants to fight everyone he plays against."
Nevertheless Lovren will no doubt have a number of potential suitors should he become available at the end of the campaign.
The former Southampton man has been linked with a switch to Italy in the past, but the prospect of staying in England could be too good to turn down.
Liverpool paid £20million for Lovren in 2014 and would seek to recoup as much of that as possible when selling him on.
