Former Spurs star Darren Bent has tipped Tottenham and Arsenal to battle for Xherdan Shaqiri's signature.
The Liverpool star has played just 11 minutes of Premier League action this season as a calf injury and the prominence of key trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane has seen his game time restricted.
The Swiss international has added a key level of experience from the bench for Liverpool in the past, but his lack of appearances has lead to him being labelled a forgotten man, with the winger stating he was not happy with his current situation.
"Of course I'm dissatisfied that I do not play more often," Shaqiri said in October.
"If that's not the reaction of a pro, he's in the wrong job. [Jurgen Klopp] cannot personally discuss the role of each player, that's normal.
"We have a big, talented squad, and many have to wait for their chance."
Former Spurs striker Bent says that the 28-year-old would not be short of suitors if he decided to leave Anfield in search of more game time, and insisted that north London rivals Arsenal and Spurs would consider a move for him.
"I think Arsenal would probably take him," Bent told Football Insider.
"Manchester City? Nope. Chelsea? Nope. Spurs may potentially take him as well.
"I think there will be no shortage of takers so he has nothing to fear about that."
