Arsenal and Spurs have discovered how much they will have to pay should they wish to sign Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha this summer.
Both clubs are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping options ahead of the new season, with the Albanian catching the eye of the Premier League duo.
The Gunners and Lilywhites have both let their backup goalkeepers go at the end of their contract, with Petr Cech announcing his retirement, and Michael Vorm moving onto pastures new. That leaves both of the clubs with their third choice; Emiliano Martinez and Paulo Gazzaniga who will step in should first choice goalkeepers Bernd Leno and Hugo Lloris be unable to play.
That scenario reportedly leaves Arsenal and Tottenham on the hunt for a new goalkeeper to challenge for a starting place and that's where Strakosha comes in.
But, the Lazio goalkeeper won't come cheap for either club, with Italian outlet Il Messaggero reporting that the 24-year-old will cost in the region of €50m.
Strakosha played 44 times for the Italian club last season, keeping 13 clean sheets, including one in the Copa Italia final as he helped his team to lift the silverware despite suffering from an achilles problem.
West Ham United have also been linked with the goalkeeper, but it is unlikely that any of the three teams mentioned will match the valuation of his club, where he has a contract that runs until 2022.
