Arsenal face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
And the Gunners have already been handed a massive boost ahead of the London derby as the hosts will be without one key player amid their current injury crisis.
Luka Milivojevic will miss the game in south London.
This is because the Eagles skipper was shown a straight red card during the FA Cup third round tie against Championship outfit Derby County last weekend.
The incident was initially missed by referee Michael Oliver.
However, after going over to the VAR screen at Selhurst Park, he made the decision to give Milivojevic his marching orders following an headbutt on former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
There might have been some confusion as to if Milivojevic would miss the Arsenal game because of suspension.
The reason for this is down to the new yellow and red card system which was introduced to English football at the beginning of the season.
The new rule change states that yellow cards only count in the competition they are received.
That's not the case for red cards as they count just like normal across all competitions.
So Milivojevic is banned against Arsenal, although Palace have appealed the decision and are currently awaiting the outcome.
If the decision is upheld, the Serbia international's absence would be a big boost to the Gunners.
And not just because of his importance to the Eagles, and ability to shackle creative players like Mesut Ozil.
Milivojevic has an excellent scoring record against the Gunners having netted five times in six appearances against Arsenal for Palace - including one in the 2-2 draw earlier in the season and a brace in the corresponding meeting last term.
