Mikel Arteta will be forced into a defensive reshuffle for his first game as Arsenal head coach.
The Gunners face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Boxing Day as the Spaniard looks to begin his reign with a positive result against Eddie Howe's side.
Arteta sat in the stands as the north London outfit drew 0-0 with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
He should have been encouraged by the fact that his new side managed to keep a clean sheet away from home in the Premier League for the first time since the opening weekend of the season.
The task will be to make it back-to-back clean sheets on the road.
However, hopes of doing that have been hit with the news that Calum Chambers will miss the game against the Cherries.
This is because of suspension.
Chambers - who has started both away games in which the Gunners haven't conceded a goal in the league this season - picked up a booking late on at Goodison Park for a foul on Mason Holgate.
That's is fifth booking of the season which means an automatic suspension.
So whilst Chambers can put his feet up over Christmas, he could be replaced in defence by Sokratis who is available for selection after serving his one-game ban against the Toffees.
Or Arteta could opt to hand a surprise start to either Shkodran Mustafi or Konstantinos Mavropanos who were both on the bench against Everton.
It's likely that Arteta will provide a team news hint when he speaks to the media on Monday afternoon.
In a message communicated to the press via email, the club said:
"Arsenal Football Club will hold a media conference on Monday to preview Thursday’s Premier League match at Bournemouth (kick-off 3pm)."
