Arsenal fans have been sending get well messages to former striker Danny Welbeck.
The forward - who left the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer in the summer - was named in the Watford line-up against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.
However, Welbeck's first return to north London has unfortunately ended earlier than he would have liked.
Football.london are at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and reported that the 28-year-old went to ground after just two minutes with what looked like a hamstring injury.
A couple of minutes later and Welbeck was being replaced by Gerard Deulofeu.
Injuries are what marred the former Manchester United forward's career at the Emirates Stadium and it's just under a year ago when he suffered a broken ankle which saw him miss the majority of last season.
But having returned to full fitness ahead of the Europa League final and then securing a move to Watford, the hope was that Welbeck would enjoy an injury free season.
Of course, the severity of the suspected hamstring problem is yet to be revealed.
With that said, Welbeck going off after only two minutes has garnered a strong reaction from Arsenal fans on Twitter.
