Arsenal and Edu can complete transfer for their own Yaya Toure as MLS starlet trains with team

American youngster Dantouma Toure is reportedly training with Arsenal.

As first revealed by Brian Sciaretta, via the Mirror, the 17-year-old winger - who has been nicknamed 'Yaya' in reference to the Manchester City legend - is currently training with the Gunners at their London Colney complex.

It's unclear if he'll leave Colorado in the upcoming January transfer window or whether he is just visiting Europe to gain some experience.

The MLS outfit may be reluctant to let him leave the club, however, as executive vice-president and general manager Padraig Smith praised his talents in March.

"Yaya is an exciting talent who has already shown tremendous potential through his performances in the USL Championship as a 16-year-old," Smith told Colorado's website.

"He’s powerful and explosive on the ball and has an ability to take on defenders that allows him to be a difference maker.

"We believe he has all the qualities necessary to develop into an elite player and are excited to see what the future holds for him."

Toure has been training with a number of European clubs during the off-season.

As per our colleagues at Football Scotland, Rangers offered the attacker the chance to impress during a recent spell with the Ibrox club.

He trained with Rangers' B-team at Auchenhowie as chiefs monitored the USA youth international.

Toure began his career at New York Red Bulls before making the move to Colorado in March, this year.

Whether Arsenal or any of the European clubs make an eventual move for him is still unknown, but it seems as though Toure already has some admirers across the football globe, and perhaps we'll see more of him in the years to come.
