Arsenal and Crystal Palace warning for fans as Premier League grounds set for Covid passports under Plan B

Arsenal and Crystal Palace have warned supporters they will be denied entry to their matches on Wednesday night if they fail to show proof of double vaccination or a negative Covid test.

From Wednesday, fans attending sports events where the attendance is more than 10,000 will be required to have Covid passports.

A vote to pass Plan B measures, including the introduction of Covid status certification, into law in England is expected to take place in Parliament on Tuesday.

Arsenal host West Ham at Emirates Stadium and Crystal Palace face Southampton at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night in two of the first matches affected by the new regulations.

Checks will be made at the turnstile and both Arsenal and Palace have reminded their supporters about the new rules. Both clubs have also asked fans to arrive early, given the new checks in place.

Supporters can download a Covid pass via the NHS app.

Face masks must be worn in all indoor areas except when eating or drinking. It has also been recommended that supporters wear them while in their seats outside, although this is not a legal requirement.
