Arsenal and Chelsea fans celebrate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer update after Man United's Leicester loss

Arsenal and Chelsea fans were overjoyed to hear the news that Manchester United are reportedly set to stick by current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Red Devils suffered an embarrassing Premier League defeat against Leicester to continue their dismal run of form.

Brendan Rodgers' side were the team on Saturday afternoon to further increase the pressure on the Norwegian boss, with the Foxes hitting four past a lacklustre Man United outfit in their 4-2 victory.

14 points from a possible 24 considering the relatively easy start Solskjaer's men faced to the new 2021/22 campaign is an underwhelming return for a team that spent significant funds on acquisitions that were expected to propel the club towards a real title challenge this season.

However, even Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't prevent the team from dropping points at the hands of so-called weaker opposition in the form of Aston Villa and Everton.

This latest Leicester set-back has got the #OleOut hashtag trending on social media once again with many fans of the Old Trafford- based club demanding instant change.

With fixtures against Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea on the horizon for United, it really looks like a gloomy situation for the current coaching set-up as they look to perform miracles in the next few weeks.

In midst of all the frustrations shown on social media by the United faithful, rival fans including supporters from London duo Arsenal and Chelsea will be delighted to hear the latest update on Solksjaer's future.

The Athletic's David Ornstein tweeted: 'As things stand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer position as Manchester United manager understood to be 100% secure. Despite poor run of form 48-year-old still has support of #MUFC board. Signed new contract in July running until 2024 with option of a further year.'

This update has provoked a lot of reaction from supporters of rival clubs who were delighted with the stance and loyalty shown to the under pressured manager from the Glazer family.

Here is the best of the reaction from the capital.
