Arsenal ahead of Chelsea, Liverpool and other main rivals as fans go crazy for new Gunners shirt

Arsenal have the 'most demanded' home shirt in the whole of English football.

Seeing that crisp new shirt for the first time is a highlight of many a football fan's summer, particularly this year when most other activities have been put on hold.

This season's Arsenal kit didn't disappoint, and the proof is in the pudding, with the Gunners' new home shirt the most in-demand across all four of England's top divisions.

Emi Martinez transfer could help fund Houssem Aouar deal

A study from Lovethesales.com has found Arsenal moved up from second to first this season, ahead of London rivals Chelsea, along with last season's number one Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

That's despite a huge reduction in sales this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Premier League teams are set to lose up to £15million in shirt sales this season with a historic five-year low predicted.

The demand for kits fell by 63% this August, likely due to the financial impact of the virus, as well as the fact supporters are not able to watch their team in action this season, or at least not yet.

Nevertheless, it seems Arsenal's new home shirt has impressed the most of any home strip.

Meanwhile, Fulham's new threads are said to be the least desirable of the top-flight and Bournemouth is the most fancied of Championship outfits.
