Arsenal 0-1 Burnley player ratings: Granit Xhaka the villain in Gunners' latest defeat

Arsenal's turmoil continued on Sunday as the Gunners fell to a shock defeat at home to Burnley.

Granit Xhaka was sent off for the hosts after grabbing Ashley Westwood by the neck in a moment of madness, reducing Arsenal to 10 men.

The Gunners were fortunate not to see another player sent fot an early bath after Mohamed Elneny escaped with a booking for raising his hands in the box.

But they had little time to feel relieved as the Clarets took the lead from the ensuing corner, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's header ended up in his own net.

The defeat means Arsenal have won just once in their last eight games and piles more pressure on under-fire boss Mikel Arteta.
