Arriva bus full of strangers break into brilliant rendition of Silent Night

This is the moment an Arriva bus full of strangers break into a rendition of Silent Night together - showing the true spirit of Christmas.

In the video, which was shared on Twitter , the group of passengers can be heard singing the Christmas classic while sat on their seats.

As one man, dressed smartly in a suit jacket, begins to plays the festive tune on a harmonica, one man shouts "you can all join in you know".

Another woman, in a Santa hat then appears to start off the harmonious singing, and can be seen clapping and swaying to the music.

And then, not before long, the whole bus joins in with the Yuletide song, as others stomp their feet and laugh along.

The festive moment was captured by Hayley Olson, who was on the bus on December 15, and then shared on social media.

Sharing it to social media Hayley wrote: "I was on the bus at 10pm last night when this happened.

"None of these people knew each other - absolute spirit of Christmas in Liverpool!"

The video has since had more than 7,000 views and dozens of comments.

Responding to the video, @arrivanorthwest tweeted: "We love a good sing-song.

"That is lovely to see!"

While others wrote how "brilliant" it was to see.

While Twitter user @lainey60 said: "Love it.....best city."
