Arrests made after Rangers and Motherwell clash at Fir Park

Police Scotland have made three arrests following an incident outside Fir Park during Motherwell's clash with Rangers yesterday.

Fireworks could be heard as the Scottish Premiership clash, which Rangers won 5-1, kicked off behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions.

And now Police Scotland have confirmed three men have been arrested following an incident outside Fir Park.

A statement said: “Three men aged, 20, 23 and 24 years have been arrested and charged in connection with an incident at Fir Park Stadium on Sunday, 27 September, 2020.

"The 23 year-old man was released on an undertaking to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court at a later date.

"The two men aged 20 and 24 years, were issued with Fixed Penalty Notices.

"A full report has been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
