Arrests after BMW leads police on high speed chase through Kirkby

Two men have been arrested after a police chase involving a BMW.

Officers spotted a suspected stolen BMW driving at high speed away from Knowsley Industrial Park, at around 12.10am on Wednesday, January 25. Police said the car, that was driving towards Kirkby, had no VRM plate.

After the suspects failed to stop for officers a pursuit started and detectives followed the BMW to Shaldon Walk. With the assistance of police dog Quga, two men were detained in a garden on Lindby Close.
