Arrest over sex attack on woman with pram

A man is being interviewed by Victoria police after an alleged sexual assault last month. (AAP)

A man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman while she was pushing a pram southeast of Melbourne last month, has handed himself in to police.

The 36-year-old woman was walking along a track beside The Esplanade at Mornington just after 1.30pm on September 14 when she was allegedly assaulted.

Victoria Police have arrested and are interviewing a 29-year-old Pakenham man after he handed himself in at a police station on Friday.
