BHOPAL: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh on Saturday wrote to DGP Vivek Johri regarding the mysterious death of a tribal youth from Betul two months ago. The victim’s body was found in Machhwai, which is situated in chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s assembly seat Budhni.
The youth, identified as Vinod Uike, a resident of village Dulhara, Ghoradongri tehsil, had left for Budhni to work as an agricultural labourer along with five girls from his village. Digvijaya said in the letter that the six persons were brought to Budhni by for harvesting paddy. The minor girls have complained that they were sexually harassed.
