A MAN has been arrested and charged after a woman was found dead in Bellshill.
Officers were called out to an address in the Blairholm Drive area of the town at around 7.45am on Saturday morning and found Pamela Wilson dead at the scene.
The 45-year-old has been named by police, and a 34-year-old man arrested and charged in connection with the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45am on Saturday, 5 July 2025, Pamela Wilson, 45, was found deceased within an address on Blairholm Drive, Bellshill.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.
“He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, 7 July 2025.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
