Arrest after cannabis cultivation discovered at Scots property

A man has been arrested for growing cannabis at a Scots property, police have confirmed.

There has been an heavy, ongoing police presence on Kinghorne Road, Dundee this week.

Officers are also thought to have been seen removing items from the property in question on Wednesday 9 June.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a cannabis cultivation was discovered at a property in Kinghorne Road in Dundee on Tuesday, 8 June, 2021.

“He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date. Enquiries are ongoing.”
