A man has been arrested after armed police swooped on a disturbance in Livingston .
The 38-year-old was cuffed after cops were called to the Muirfield Way area in West Lothian around 4.20pm on Saturday March 7.
A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called around 4.20pm on Saturday, 7 March, to a report of a disturbance in the Muirfield Way area of Livingston.
"Armed police were in attendance.
“A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
