Arre kahe ka 40! Rohit Sharma's epic leg-pulling trips Mishra Ji

NEW DELHI: All-rounder Marcus Stoinis delivered a powerful performance, scoring 62 runs and taking a wicket on Tuesday, leading the Lucknow Super Giants to a four-wicket victory in their IPL 2024 match against Mumbai Indians at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Stoinis played a key role in Lucknow's pursuit of 145 against the Mumbai Indians, with the home team securing their target with four wickets and four balls to spare.

Following the match, Mumbai Indians' star batsman Rohit Sharma had a lighthearted exchange with LSG's experienced spinner Amit Mishra, joking about the veteran spinner's age.

IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants claim 4-wicket win over Mumbai Indians

In a video shared by the Lucknow Super Giants, Rohit, who turned 37 on Tuesday, asked Mishra about his age, to which Mishra humorously responded, "41."

"What 40? You're 3 years older than me?" said Rohit.

"I am 41," said Mishra.

"You made your debut when we were in our nappies. That's when you made your debut. You made your debut when you were 20?" said Rohit.

"Yes. 20-21," said Mishra.

Lucknow Super Giants moved to third spot in the 10-team table.

Five-time title winners, Mumbai Indians remained ninth above wooden spooners Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
