Among the notable names to miss the cut include Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson, Tony Finau, Scott Piercy, Adam Scott and Matt Every, who shot a 65 and held the solo lead after the first round but came back on Friday and shot an 83. Every is the first golfer since 2013 to hold a solo lead after the first round of a PGA Tour event and then miss the cut.
