The North West's largest out-of-town business destination has announced the biggest letting in its history.
Birchwood Park in Warrington has welcomed e-commerce fashion retailer Arne Clo Ltd as its latest occupier, with a 10-year deal for a 60,000sq ft space on Daten Avenue.
According to Patrizia, which manages the park, the letting means phase two of its multi-million-pound Cavendish Warehouse development is fully let.
Reece Broadhurst, founder and CEO at Arne Clo Ltd, said: “We are a North West company, and incredibly proud to be so.
"When we were looking to relocate from our Wigan base, although we were looking for a significantly large space, we also required easy access to motorway links and it was important that the new site had all the amenities required for our existing staff members. Birchwood Park ticked all the boxes for us.
“As the full team starts to be more office based with lockdown restrictions easing, we are looking forward to trying out the on-site gym, spacious green areas and various restaurant/meeting room options – all of which are an added bonus!”
Menswear and footwear brand Arne Clo was founded by brothers Reece and Ryan Broadhurst in 2018.
Like other online fashion retailers, it has seen "exponential" growth during the pandemic
After launching three years ago, it quickly outgrew its small retail unit, and then its first warehouse space in Wigan.
With the trend for online purchases set to continue, Arne Clo said its team is "fully focused" on expansion and product development from its new base on the park.
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Arne Clo Ltd to the Park, increasing our client base within the online retail sector.
"The North West is known for its entrepreneurial spirt, especially within the fashion sector, and the Arne team is a great example of that – with such inspirational growth since its launch just three years ago.
“It’s also incredible news that with welcoming Arne Clo Ltd to the Park, the second phase of our Cavendish Warehouse development is now fully let.”
