Arnautovic starts, Masuaku keeps his spot - predicted West Ham team to face Leicester City

Forget about the new claret carpet that is going to be revealed to the masses at London Stadium this weekend, there is also a match taking place as West Ham host in-form Leicester City.

It is a game that could have big implications on the race for a seventh place finish, a spot that is currently occupied by the Foxes after a tremendous run of form under new manager Brendan Rodgers which has seen them win their last four games in a row.

West Ham meanwhile come into the game off the back of two straight defeats to top four chasing Chelsea and Manchester United, both away from home, as their challenge for seventh has tailed off.

Those two games have come at a cost in terms of injuries as well. Manuel Lanzini limped off with a suspected adductor problem against United and is out of the Leicester game, while Samir Nasri is really struggling once again with a calf problem he picked up during the half time warm up of the defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Behind the scenes of Football.London's sneak peek at West Ham's claret carpet installation

Marko Arnautovic should return to the squad having missed the United defeat after picking up a virus and having only trained the day ahead of the game. He is likely to start as well with Javier Hernandez set to miss out.

Aaron Cresswell was also ruled out of the United match with a minor knee problem and will miss this weekend as well.

Other than that, it's just the long-term injuries that remain. Jack Wilshere was slated to play in the U23s midweek draw against Derby County but surprisingly didn't make the trip just a week after Manuel Pellegrini said he needed to play one more game for the youngsters.

So, here is how we think the Hammers could line up in Stratford on Saturday afternoon:

With Lanzini being ruled out, we have given the start to Michail Antonio, who starred off the bench against United. Lanzini often drifted wide ride during the game, with Felipe Anderson on the left.

Robert Snodgrass should feature despite being slapped with a one-match ban by the FA for using insulting/abusive words towards to UK Anti Doping official. The Scotsman is still mulling over whether to appeal the very harsh judgement from the Association and while he appeals, his ban is not active.

West Ham on track with London Stadium revamp as new claret carpet installed

We've included Ryan Fredericks at right back for Pablo Zabaleta as Pellegrini likes to rotate the duo and with Zabaleta just three appearances away from triggering a contract extension, the Englishman could well be the preferred option.
