Hernandez comes in for Arnautovic, Balbuena returns - Predicted West Ham team vs Everton

Manuel Pellegrini hasn't had to pick a West Ham team for a couple of weeks thanks to the international break but it's back to business in east London as the Premier League run-in starts in earnest.

The Hammers play host to Everton at the London Stadium on Saturday evening as both sides look to keep themselves in the race for seventh in the table and a potential European spot in 2019/20. Marco Silva's side sit two points and two places behind the Pellegrini's side, who are ninth, in the table heading into this weekend.

The manager has seen all of his players return from their respective international teams over the break unscathed and a couple of them finding some goalscoring form as well in Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez, who found the net for Austria and Mexico respectively.

One player the manager is likely to be without this weekend is Samir Nasri, who has picked up a second calf injury within the space of four weeks and is a major doubt for the game against Everton.

West Ham's best XI right now compared to the one that started on opening day at Liverpool

The usual suspects will also be sidelined - Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, Andy Carroll and Winston Reid - but otherwise it seems like the manager has a clean bill of health to choose from.

Here is how we think the Hammers could line up on Saturday in our predicted team:

The big decision for this game comes up front and whether Pellegrini decides to play either Javier Hernandez, Marko Arnautovic or maybe both of them. We have gone for Hernandez, who has scored three goals in his last two games for club and country. Arnautovic scored twice against Israel for Austria in the week so it really is a toss of a coin between the two.

In defence, we have picked Fabian Balbuena to come back into the side and make his first start for nearly three months alongside Issa Diop, with Angelo Ogbonna making way.

The one other change we have gone for is Ryan Fredericks, left out of the squad completely for the win over Huddersfield, to return at right back at the expense of Pablo Zabaleta.

The rest of the side is unchanged from the one that produced that rousing late comeback to beat Huddersfield last time out as Hernandez climbed off the bench to score twice in the final ten minutes and turn around a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 victory.
