Army veteran in his 60s attacked at Leeds train station

Police have released an image of a man they want to question about an attack on an army veteran at Leeds station.

The veteran, who is in his 60s and was wearing uniform, was punched to the floor at 6.45pm on Saturday, May 18.

He was with two other veterans, who were also in uniform, and they were confronted by four men before at the station, shortly before the assault.

He did not require medical treatment after he was punched.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers believe the man in the image (shown above) may have information that could help their investigation.

"Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 487 of 18/05/19.

"Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
