The army bomb squad rushed to a Dublin house after multiple suspect devices were found.
Explosive experts attended the scene after the alarm was raised on Wednesday morning.
Gardai called to the home at St Teresa's Road, Crumlin at around 11am after the discovery.
Officers then alerted the Irish Army who safely removed the devices for further examination.
A Defence Forces spokesman told the Irish Mirror: "Following a request from An Garda Síochána, an Army Bomb Disposal Team was tasked to investigate suspect devices located at a premises in Crumlin, Dublin 12.
"The team arrived on scene at approximately 12.15pm.
"On arrival a cordon was established and the area was evacuated for the duration of the operation.
"The suspect items were made safe and removed for further examination at a secure location. The team departed the scene just after 2.00pm."
A garda spokesman added: "At approximately 11am, Gardaí were called following the discovery of suspect devices at St Teresa's Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
"The Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit safely contained the devices and took it away for analysis."
The Defence Forces spokesman advised the public to contact gardai immediately if they encounter any suspicious items or substances.
