Army bomb disposal team dispatched to Drogheda estate after houses evacuated

An army bomb disposal team is en route to the Moneymore housing estate in Drogheda, county Louth where a number of houses have been evacuated following the discovery of a device earlier tonight.

The scene is currently sealed off and Gardai say that no further information is available at this time as it is a live operation.
