A knife-wielding thug left a shop keeper terrified after threatening him with a blade during a robbery in Bearsden.
The 40-year-old shop keeper badly shaken after the robber burst into the Day to Day Xpress store wearing a white skull Halloween mask and brandished a knife.
Police are probing the theft after the suspect made off with a three figure sum of money.
Constable Scott Hawkins at the Communities Investigation Unit said: "The victim was left extremely shaken following this robbery.
"The suspect is described as being a man who is around 5'8 inches tall and was wearing a black coloured Adidas top with stripes down the arms and a white stripe across the chest, black coloured Adidas tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
"He was wearing what is being described as a white skull Halloween type mask."
