
Police are warning South Side residents after an armed robbery was reported Monday in Beverly.
Two suspects approached a male who was alone about 7:25 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 96th Street, Chicago police said in an alert. One suspect displayed a handgun while the other stole the person’s property. Both ran off down an alley afterwards.
The two suspects are described as males between 17 to 20-years old, police said. They were about 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds. One was wearing a black and gold Pelle Pelle jacket and dark jeans, and the other was wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.
