Chicago police are warning West Side residents about a series of armed robberies that happened last month in West Town, Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park.

In each case, one or two people approached someone on the street, beat them and stole their property, Chicago police said. The suspects flashed a handgun in one such robbery.

The robberies took place:

· About 6 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 700 block of North Rockwell Street;

· About 6:20 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 800 block of North Hoyne Avenue;

· About 6:45 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 2400 block of West Iowa Street; and

· About 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23 in the 2700 block of West Thomas Street.

The suspects were described as two males between 14 and 20 years old, police said. They wore face masks in one robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
