Police are warning Near West Side residents about a trio of armed robberies reported in Humboldt Park and West Town earlier this month.
In each case, someone approached people, displayed a handgun and demanded their belongings, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The robberies happened:
- At 12:50 a.m. July 17 in the 1000 block of North Campbell Avenue
- At 10:13 p.m. July 21 in the 1900 block of West Superior Street
- At 3:38 p.m. July 25 in the 2500 block of West Iowa Street
The suspects are described as one to three men between 20 and 30 years of age, police said.
