Chicago police are warning residents of four armed robberies reported in Englewood on the South Side.
In each incident victims were approached on the street by one or two people who threatened them with a handgun and demanded their property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The robberies happened:
- About 1:30 a.m May 25 in the 1600 block of West 62 Street;
- About 12:25 a.m. June 11 in the 6100 block of South Ashland Avenue;
- About 4:40 a.m. June 19 in the 1500 block of West 60th Street; and
- About 2:20 a.m. July 5 in the 6300 block of South Ashland Avenue.
