
Police are warning South Side residents of armed robberies reported in May and June in Englewood.
In each case, one or two people approached someone, threatened them with a handgun and demanded their property, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The robberies happened:
- About 1:30 a.m. May 25 in the 1600 block of West 62nd Street;
- About 12:25 a.m. June 11 in the 6100 block of South Ashland Avenue; and
- About 4:40 a.m. June 19 in the 1500 block of West 60th Street.
