Armed raider Keaton Cooper has admitted trying to rob a post office and shop on the same day.
Cooper targeted the businesses in Sunderland on March 30 in a spate of offences

The 21-year-old admitted trying to rob Grangetown Post Office of £350 and a second attempted robbery at a Premier shop, on Villette Road, in Hendon.
Appearing on a video-link from prison at Newcastle Crown Court, he further admitted possessing an offensive weapon - a machete - and possessing cannabis.
Judge Paul Sloan QC adjourned the case for pre-sentence and mental health assessment reports.
Cooper, of Trevarren Drive, Ryhope, Sunderland, will be sentenced on June 18.
