Armed police have stormed three streets in Birmingham after a gun was found.
Police closed James Turner Street - made famous during the Channel 4 documentary Benefits Street - in the aftermath of the incident, Birmingham Live reports.
Pictures taken at the scene in James Turner Street show a forensic police investigator handling a revolver.
The forensic officer, dressed all in white, can be seen examining the weapon.
It is understood police received a call after a firearm was spotted by a member of the public.

The incident happened at around 2pm.
It is not currently known if the weapon was loaded or whether any arrests were made.
Nearby Foundry Road and Lodge Road were also closed off to the public while forensic officers could be seen recovering a handgun from the scene.

West Midlands Police are yet to release a statement on what happened.
Two roads have subsequently reopened.
Residents reported seeing armed police at the scene and a police helicopter has been hovering overhead.
