Armed police swoop in Isleworth after gunman ‘fires weapon in public place’

This is the moment armed police storm into a west London home to arrest a man accused of firing a gun in a public place.

Metropolitan Police called to reports of a gunman on the loose locked down London Road, Isleworth at 12.15pm on Tuesday.

No injuries were reported but a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a public place.

Police storm into to the terraced property (UB1UB2)

A Met spokesman said: “Police were called to a report of a person with a firearm on London Road, Isleworth.

“Officers, including specialist firearms officers, attended.

“One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a public place.

“No injuries were reported.”
